Differentiation Strategies
This resource package has been designed to sequence learning. As students all learn differently and are at different levels teachers need to differentiate. This resource package allows teachers to accommodate students in the class who are at different learning levels. The below strategies outline requirements for teachers to use this resource for differentiation purposes.
Diagnostic Assessment - the teacher should profile the ability of the students by giving them a pretest before the time unit of work. The should also observe and discuss time with students to gain a profile of their ability.
Collaborative Learning - the teacher can organise ability groups and use the appropriate resources for each group. This can build a learning platform so they can acquire knowledge and gather their skills.
Independent Learning can also assist all types of learners with extension work as well as support work. See support and extension.
The resource has different levels of learning activities. They can be used with students either digitally or in a hard copy form.
